I have been so lucky to entertain so many wonderful stars over the years, including household names such as Rod Stewart and Davina McCall. And recently, I came across a video of me showing the wonderful Ashley Walters and his wife, Danielle Walters, some magic. Ashley is best known for the new hit Netflix series, Adolescence, and the iconic Top Boy. And Danielle is known for powerhouse TV shows such as Chewing Gum and Gavin & Stacey.
I just wanted to say how much of a pleasure it was to entertain actors Ashley Walters and his wonderful wife, Danielle Walters, with a little magic.
They were both an absolute joy – relaxed, open, and up for a laugh – which made the whole experience even more special. Watching their reactions, especially when something truly impossible unfolded right in front of them, was a real highlight. You could feel the amazement in the room!
Moments like these are why I love what I do: creating unforgettable experiences, even just for a few minutes, that bring people together in awe and wonder.
What stood out most was how present and engaged they were. Ashley’s mix of curiosity and sharp wit made for some brilliant moments, while Danielle’s warm energy and brilliant expressions added to the fun. It felt less like performing for celebrities and more like sharing magic among friends – which is the best kind of atmosphere.
We shared some real laughter and jaw-dropping moments, and I hope the memories of that night linger with them as much as they will with me. Magic works best when it connects people and sparks emotion – and this was one of those rare, perfect nights where everything clicked.
